I am a fervent and fastidious facilitator of form & function.
A hearty hello to you, good person, and welcome to the online portfolio of Charles Noerenberg. I am a Visual and UX Designer making good-looking things in multitudinous media: I began in print, transitioned to publishing, progressed to web and UX, and currently do some of all of it. I live in Chicago with my dog, Ajax, and shamelessly put ketchup on my hotdogs. Don't @ me.
I studied the graphic arts at the University of Illinois at Chicago, working part time while attending school, and earned my BFA in Graphic Design in 2011. I have worked professionally as a designer since 2004, during which time I have never stopped learning, growing and evolving.
Things I enjoy that are not (entirely) design related:

• A
lliteration
• Barn quilts
• Baseball
• Camping
• Comedy podcasts
• Concerts (ask me about my favorite venue!)
• Cooking (with liberal amounts of garlic)
• Deep dish pizza (Giordano's > the rest)
• Drawing
• Midcentury modern furniture
• Playing hockey (Let's go Biscuits!)
• Running (four marathons and counting)
• Sports logos and uniforms

• Vinyl
